Lennie has served as the Treasurer and Western Director of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers, and is a mentor to many new flower growers and designers. She teaches in the horticulture department of Santa Rosa Junior College, hosts workshops on the farm for flower enthusiasts of all levels, and previously taught community agriculture at Petaluma Bounty Community Farm. She loves working closely with both established farm businesses, as well as people just beginning to explore their love for cut flowers and farming. Customizable consulting packages are offered in the following areas:
Farm Business Consulting:
Lennie helps small, organic and regenerative farms build thriving businesses, by teaching them the skills needed to strategically build efficiency and financial sustainability. For best results, she prefers to work with farmers over the course of a few months or a whole season, during which we can assess the farm’s current situation, make a tailored plan, and track results. However, she also offer single sessions to help farmer’s gain specific insight into the businesses and markets, or evaluate a new opportunity or change they’re considering. While Lennie specializes in 1 - 10 acre cut flower farms, she also has extensive experience working with vegetable farms and beyond.
Her specialties include:
Sales Channel Analysis

Following the Virtual Business Retreats, these (virtual) monthly small group sessions are structured to provide you with accountability as you work towards your goals, a chance to review your progress, to undertake some new exercises in the way of monthly homework, and a chance to get feedback from the group on farm challenges in real time.
Everyone needs a second opinion, help solving a problem, or just a mid-season boost! Join us in this informal coaching call (zoom), where we’ll do a round robin of each individual’s challenges at the moment. Come with an issue I can help with, stay to hear and help as we work through the challenges from the rest of the group. Saturday, June 24th, 9 - 11am PST.
For those looking for a more in-depth look at their business, I offer individual consulting packages. After signing up, you’ll be sent a questionnaire that will help me to understand your challenges and create a tailored plan for our work together.
